Achieve the ultimate end.

“Philosophy is a battle against the bewitchment of our intelligence by means of language.”
–Ludwig Wittgenstein

Missing a Feature? I’ll build it.

Systems, networks, websites, simulator or script functions, and more — if it doesn’t exist yet, I’ll develop it.

Furthermore, as an experienced teacher, I don’t just deliver the solution — I can explain it clearly, so that you can take charge.

About

This work began as a personal passion project — exploring, building, and experimenting with virtual learning environments and full‑stack development at home. Over time, it became clear that this isn’t just a hobby, it’s the career path forward. With a strong foundation in education and years of experience as a teacher, the focus now is on creating solutions that combine technical expertise with the ability to explain, guide, and empower others.

The goal is simple: to design reliable, scalable platforms for virtual simulation and learning while helping others grow their own skills along the way. Specializing in OpenSimulator, I build immersive, persistent 3D spaces that support training, development, and collaboration. Just as Apache and Nginx quietly power millions of websites, OpenSim provides an unseen engine that makes these experiences possible. This work is about independence, creativity, and turning passion into a profession — building something lasting and meaningful on the frontier of virtual learning and simulation.

Every system is a work in progress. Virtual environments, learning platforms, and digital tools are never flawless—and neither are the people who build them. Mistakes happen, experiments fail, and ideas evolve. What matters is the commitment to keep improving, to learn from each iteration, and to create solutions that genuinely serve those who use them.

The focus here is not on perfection, but on progress. Each solution offered—whether a virtual grid, a training center, or a technical service—represents both what has been achieved and what is still being refined. They are practical, ethical, and empowering tools that help learners, creators, and organizations grow.

These solutions are not promises of instant success. They are invitations to collaborate, to test, to adapt, and to build something better together.

It seems that WordPress has swallowed up some of my links. I’ll need to repost them later. For now, I can provide you with the login screen:

It’s still a closed grid (as in not available from the hypergrid) for now. I’ve been experimenting with securing ROBUST behind Apache and ModSecurity. However, I’ve reached a point where I will simply rewrite phpGridServer to align with the modern OpenSim database and use ROBUST solely for assets.

This business is a sole proprietorship. While I don’t want to blast my credentials, they’re available on my linkedin page. A link is provided in the footer.

“And what, specifically, do you do?”

I provide full-stack development services for OpenSim. That means I am capable of working with every part of the stack from the operating system level, the database, the networking, the server software (including software development), and several viewer components (such as scripting). For instance, I typically run these services in virtual machines. This is something I can help others do.

I also provide learning solutions for each of those aspects. Not only can I do the work, but I can show you how to do that for yourself.

Mainly, I want to provide whatever services are necessary to help people get their own grids (or standalones) off the ground sustainably. I did this for others many years ago for free. I can’t really afford to do that anymore. I used to run one or two public grids: one in the 0.6.x days and its continuation in the 0.7.x days. I’ve been around OpenSim since roughly version 0.6.8.

Life took me in a different direction, namely toward education. Technical and personal limitations forced me to set OpenSim aside for a while (as a career choice). Yet, much of this work has a learning curve. I’ve always been deeply passionate about OpenSim as I believe in its potential to serve as the backbone of the 3D internet. I am now attempting to integrate these aspects of self into a unified service as a computer science educator. Don’t think of me as either tech support or a trainer. I’m the complete package.
